Shappi Tandoori - Sunbury-on-Thames

After waiting 1 hour 40 mins for our delivery that we ordered online, it turned up cold, tiny portions with burnt/dry nan bread. We phoned to complain to get told they will take £5 off next time. Sending out food like that there won't be a next time! I feel like we have been mugged! I would be ashamed to serve food like that if I had cooked it myself, let alone charging the public for it. A bombay aloo containing 5 small bits of potato is a total rip off, 1 potato equivalent used! So disappointed! The nan bread was not even edible and went in the bin. That waste alone was over £5! Fantastic takeaway!! This place honestly doesn't deserve it's lower rating, we were hesitant to order because of the reviews but I'm so glad we did because it is our new favourite now. And the value is AMAZING where else can you get a massive Indian takeaway for 2 people for £20 these days?! The food is delicious and always arrives quickly and is hot. Can't recommend enough!! I am unfortunately disappointed with the king prawn butterfly, hardy any prawn all batter? also tikka meat meals again unfortunately not alot off meat like they used too mostly sauce...
