District 13 - Sunbury

Food and drinks great as usual. Service is always on point!

My husband and I made a reservation for 5.30 a couple days in advance and requested the high table by the bar and we got there at 5. Place was completely empty except a few people at the bar. Lots of workers standing around hostess desk. We had requested a table by the bar one of the high top tables instead we were told we were sitting in the small tables by the bar again there were very little customers there and the table we wanted was empty but couldn’t sit there. So my husband and I walked out and headed to Ghostwriter in Johnstown. We have eaten at District 13 twice before this and really enjoyed the food and experience but lately the first thing you are asked “do you have a reservation” if you don’t then it seems to be an inconvenience and obviously if you do have a reservation and don’t like the table you are assigned then too bad!!

So happy to have a new restaurant in Sunbury! Short ribs were a bit too fatty for our liking, otherwise everything was wonderful :

I found the food to be quite expensive. While it was enjoyable, it definitely came at a high price. On the plus side, the singer was talented, and the staff provided excellent service.

Have reserved a week earlier. they were not prepared and have crispy seats. I am a high risk for covid. not many employees wore a mask. it was full. not enough choice in the menu. I didn't feel safe at all. I'm not back.
