Publix Super Market At Oakbrook Shopping Center

I have been going to Publix for YEARS and I LOVE PUBLIX but this location the experience I had on yesterday was horrible !!! I called the store back to speak to the manager. I was going to brush the experience off but it needs to be addressed. This was my first time at this location. I went to get fresh meat WHICH I LOVE and the woman white woman , glasses, and a black clip on the back of her head did not say anything to me. I asked her if I could get a few things and she still didn’t say anything. The bad part about it is she looked at me and didn’t move. A white gentleman came behind me and she said “ hello sir how may I help you!” In that moment I didn’t want to make it about race but what do you think !! So I asked her if she didn’t hear or see me and she told the gentleman to come around me and he did !!! If this happened to me I know it has before. It needs to be addressed!! The manager I spoke with said he would but I didn’t follow up to see if he indeed did. Very sad !!

It's my favorite place to get groceries. Love the produce selection. Everything is so fresh and good. Also, the sale deals are great, and you don't have to deal with coupons. Everyone gets the deals.

Top notch grocery store. Clean and they are usually stocked with all the best shopping essentials and fresh meats and produce. The deli team members make the best sandwiches and are so nice! Thank you for the great work! Everyone who works there is so helpful!

They are the best pharmacy ever. Always get your prescription ready before time due. Very friendly and helpful. They make you feel like you are very important

Super friendly employees! Does well at keeping things in stock and actually on the shelf. Pharmacy is second to none! The flower/florist area is always full of a vast variety of options to include potted plants. Bakery and produce are never lacking and items are fresh and appealing. (Unlike so many of its local competitors) The store has been clean every time I've been there. Never had a problem getting a cart or a handheld basket. Checkout has been quick and easy most of the time. The few times lime was backed up, Mgmt worked quickly to rectify. Parking can be hit or miss as it's a high volume area. However, it's not bad enough to keep me from going. Check it out and see for yourself. I think you'll find your grocery shopping place of choice.
