At lunch on a Monday, the tables and bar area had dirty glasses out the entire time we were there, the bar servicer was completely preoccupied with receipts, outbound phone calls and what was going on in the kitchen. It was not busy yet we felt ignored. The sandwich I ordered was the muffuletta and it could have been a sandwich off a gas station self. It was tasteless, soggy and the size of a dinner roll for $13. It had a side of two tablespoons of cole slaw. Beers not exactly cheap either. $78 with tip for lunch
Went here for dinner. The hostess and server were friendly. The cleanliness was a little bit below average. The food proportions were small for what you pay. My wife ordered garlic bread for an appetizer. When it was brought out the runner dumped part of it on our table. She did apologize but that was all she did. No offer to bring out a new one or replace it. The entire garlic bread appetizer was also only two tiny pieces of flat bread. My wife ordered meatloaf and said it was average compared to other places. I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo. The chicken was well seasoned but the sauce was kind of bland. The small flavor that the sauce did have was over powered by the broccoli. Plus, $18.50 for a serving amount that I could fit in a small cereal bowl is crazy.
Great neighborhood vibe here, if you're looking for a place where everyone knows your name with a good daily menu then it takes just a couple of visits to become a regular. Check out their specials while you're at it.
In Town on a road trip and found this place on Yelp. This restaurant/bar is tucked in the middle of an older strip center. It appears to be a popular place as it does not seem to be near any local draw or interstates. The staff is very nice and held several conversations with us. Very interesting menu with lots to choose from. My wife ordered the pierogies and I orederd german meatloaf with mash potatoes. We each ordered a side salad as well. The salads were a good size with tomato and cucumber. We both enjoyed our meals. The potato pierogies were pan fried and came with sour cream and onion. The meat loaf was a good size portion with a gravy on top and mashed potato on side. This was a good home town restaurant experience. Would visit again if in area.
Nice bar atmosphere with a bandstand for regular life music and trivia. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich and I had a fresh ground brisket and chuck hamburger with fried macaroni. Both on brioche buns. Very tasty. I had the cole slaw and my wife had sour cream cucumbers...several other fresh made sides available. We both enjoyed local draft beers for lunch. Nice friendly atmosphere and not crowder for Th lunch. I will check me back when I'm in town again.
