He always talked about how a certain waitress was his favorite server. Instead of talking about her work ethics, he talked about how he loved her accent and a potential relationship with her, and he stared at her like a falcon from all over the room. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name. It was very unpleasant. Then he talked about other random things. He is friendly, but shares too much personal information with customers. I appreciate a friendly host, but he was too personal, linguistic and creepy.
I was here for an order and it took ten minutes for a worker to notice that I was on the front. You have an area in front to go orders, and I thought mine was in the mix of the 3 pockets that were there. I was to understand how I know that they are only short staff, but since I took up, I was not prioritised and others were sitting. About 4 tables were used so they were not busy in the dining area? I waited for another ten minutes and then another worker came to me and asked what the name of my order was. I had finished my order all the time I waited and sat in the area.
So the food was about what you would expect from an Ihop. Not great, but not absolutely terrible. I wouldn't really describe it as hot, but rather the kind of warm as it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The waitress on the other side has led me not to return to this special ihop on the basis of the service alone. Drinks took forever. The food took forever. Check lasted forever. We are very patient and we? re chatting all the time, but when we left, we realized that we were there almost 2 hours. Another table asked our waitress if we could get our drinks after they had received a refill. We had to call her to find out why a few pancakes were missing toppings. We never found out, so we thought they ran away. Very glad we didn't need any refills or anything other than syrup. When it was time for the check, we had a gift card that she could work?t, but we finally got it sorted thanks to the manager who was very friendly and helpful. Manager is the reason for the two stars.
He waited for 45 minutes for cold and did not prepare the way we asked. There were a total of 4 tables, the table that sat 15 minutes after us first received their food. IHOP, you need to do better for your customers. Waitress and waitress were not very friendly. We'll never go back to this facility!
After waiting an hour and still no food or drink refills we left. We were seated in front of the kitchen and this awful smell filled the air?so we moved to a new seat on the other side of the restaurant and we could still smell it. So I?m not sure how I would have been able to eat with that smell anyway. The restaurant was not busy and less than 10 tables had people at them. I honestly think our waiter forgot to put our food order in and forgot about us completely?
