Halls Chophouse Nexton (summerville)

Another excellent anniversary meal at Hall's! Bene's and **** Mary's were delicious as usual.

Had a decent experience last night at Halls, food and service were top notch. I had the 6oz Filet and my wife the Pork Chops both were prepared perfectly. We added the creamy pepper corn side, as well as the Tuna Tartar appetizer, all in all very tasty. Where Halls falls short is noise level. From the louder than necessary music to the general conversation levels, I found it disruptive when one thinks of a fine dining experience. All in all the overall feel is super classy, with very nice furnishings. Our experience only falls short on the noise level. While I've decided on only a four star rating, make no mistake about it Halls, is a must try when in the area! The food and service more than make up for anything else.

Had a 9:15 reservation and they put us upstairs. The waiter Paul indirectly insulted my friend from out of town telling her what she was accustom to. The food came out cold and it taste nothing like the halls downtown. My friend husband told them he doesn’t eat pork but they put pork in his collard greens and served it to him. The lobster macaroni was cold and Paul the waiter said they didn’t sell lamb chops it was rack of lamb but when I got it they must have knocked the lamb chops off the rack and served it to us. After that horrible experience I still left a tip. Once Paul gave me the bill I paid 509 dollars and I attempted to put the 75 dollar cash tip in the folder. Paul grabbed it before it hit the folder said thank you and that was the end of the night. He never came back to get the signed bill and give me my copy he just went MIA. After 10-15 minutes we just left and I called to speak to a manager but nobody was available and I never got a call back. This is the first time I visit that location and the last time I will visit that location.

1st time there and we went for our anniversary. Very nice staff and place. Food was really good. Well cooked and seasoned.

Second time visiting this location. Greenville and Downtown Charleston are also great locations. The atmosphere and live music made for another great experience. The food is perfectly seasoned and prepared. Great place for an intimate dinner or taking a client out for dinner. Can't wait for the next visit!
