The Cobbler reminds me of North Carolina. The bartender is crazy. Excellent lemon drop Martini. To summarize it, I have been Chef for many years and I recommend this place very clean and the cook is in complete control. In front of the house the servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Very nice place we were very happy!
This was a wonderful dining experience! From time moment we walked in we felt welcomed and relaxed. Nice views of the water from just about anywhere you sit. The server, Lindsey, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. She made great suggestions and made sure we had a dining experience that exceeded our expectations. Amazing chef and delicious food!
This has been, hands down, one of my best dining experiences ever. As a vegan, I was perfectly happy to eat whatever veggie sides they had but instead, Chef Paul worked up a special dish just for me! It was the most beautiful collection of fresh and flavorful, perfectly sauteed vegetables on top of a portobello mushroom... It was uh-mazing. Everyone in our party was thrilled with their meal. The atmosphere was perfect. Signature cocktails were beyond perfect. Waitress Lindsay was so sweet, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Mom got the dessert and loved it! I highly recommend this venue!!!!
Ever changing always excellent menu, tonite I had golden tilefish topped w/blue crab key lime cream sauce (pictured hunny had canneloni stuffed w/lobster Key West pinks, wrapped it up w/a chocolate espresso martini dark chocolate cake. Service was fantastic! Pro Tip if you have a few friends with you, get the tomahawk steak to share ;
I was a little to early for dinner service but they were kind enough to let me sit at the bar until the kitchen opened up. The bartender was one of the best I've ever had in Florida. His customer service and attention to drink preparation could not have been better. I didn't bother getting a table and had a nice quiet corner at the bar to enjoy a little people watching and wondering who the locals were. The food came before I even had a chance to think I wanted something different. For starters the Bisque was a great choice and not to filling. As per his recommendation I got the Hambone Snapper Stuffed with Blue Crab and it was an excellent choice as well. He also suggested the Pumpkin Swordfish with Lemon Caper Sauce but I totally misunderstood and thought the dish had pumpkin in it for some reason. My mistake but I'm sure that dish would have been great too. The black and blue cobbler for dessert was a perfect end to my meal with its cold scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Service, atmosphere, drinks, food and the portions and dessert was all top notch. This place is really nice and far enough away from the cool kids in Key West that someone who doesn't like crowded places can fully enjoy. Highly recommended!
