Hogfish Grill - Stock Island

After a long journey to Miami for a 2-day stay, we were pleased to find a welcoming place to rest. The prices were reasonable for a tourist area and the restaurant had a charmingly rustic and pleasant atmosphere.

You must visit this place for the first time, especially after coming back from Highway 1. Trust me, you won't want to miss it. It is situated by a marina and offers a lot to enjoy.

I spent two weeks on Stock Island and knew I had to try the hogfish, and we were definitely glad we did. What a great place! I started with the Bahamas Mama cocktail.

Food was good and as busy as this place was we were shocked how fast our food was delivered. I would call this place a hidden gem as it is away from the regular tourist areas.

Love the shrimp and grits. Add a fish filet to top it off. You can't miss with pretty much anything on the menu. The locals love this place, and I know why...
