Decoys - Suffolk

The service and food were excellent. Unfortunately someone’s truck alarm went off at regular intervals, somewhat spoiling the ambiance of the deck. Perhaps management could have had the DJ at the pool area make an announcement or something.

Waitress Brandi …first thing we got there early for our reservation were seated and then first thing waitress tells us we turn over tables every 2 hours so you need to finish your drinks and meal then leave table in 1 hour 45 minutes so we can clean table and seat next customer!!! It took 40 minutes to get our meals!! Really ticked us off and ruined our evening to start! Then we finished our drinks and meals paid bill and went to bar area to drink. Our table we were at earlier did not get used for another hour and a half !! Ridiculous policy snd manager should be fired. Will never go back to Decoys because customers do need requirements during a dinner and drinks meal !! M Brown

Loved the location, server (Breon) and the ambiance. The vibes were good and the tiki bar was cute. Live music but I didn’t stay long. The hush puppies were really good. I arrived shortly after 4 and I got there the right time bc it started getting busier. I liked the crab cakes (not a lot of filler) and the wontons. The seafood platter had a crab cake that was good but the flounder lacked flavor, the fries and shrimp were over cooked. Tasty but overcooked. The meal took a while because of a ribeye eye. And when it came out it was over cooked and slightly beyond well. The ribeye was without bone although I was told it was. Lacked some flavor because of it. Dry. The waiter did offer options but I didn’t want to after the wait. The potatoes were very salty and the broccoli was perfect. Overall I think it was just a busy time. I saw someone order a choc cake that was huge. Looked really moist and they were raving how good it was but I couldn’t try it. May be worth a go next time. I’ll try again soon

I ate dinner on Friday. The crab dive must be the best I've ever tried. My wife and I both have the seafood plate consisting of flounder, shrimp and a crab cake. This was our first visit to Decoy's and we will definitely be back!!!! We enjoyed both our meal and the Hush puppies and Mac n cheese!!
