Easily a 3.5 Star, reason I 'm not giving more mainly is due to the must try stir fried beef brisket with bean sprouts beef was quite tough and is lacking some meat aroma, and the overall dish need more flavour in it, maybe the original taste is something plain like this, but since is must try, I do have some kind of savory expectation, the combination with bean sprout, onion and green onion is definitely good, however the meat and overall taste feel like it can be improvise. The second dish is fried chicken, and it is well done with tender meat and nice texture crust, few choices of sauce (I pick the honey one) would definitely try other sauce next time. Is my first visiting Oiso, so I 've found out their dish serve along with a set, means you 'll be getting some side dishes and maybe even rice and soup. Thou is not written in the restaurant nor the menu, you actually get to refill some of the side dish, except for soup and rice if I 'm not wrong. I confirm the refill myself, as I asked for a second round of Kim Chi (side dish). I even notice some customer asking for drinks refill Kim Chi is tasty by the way, It is strong and almost tasted abit sweet, not overly salty nor spicy. Place can get crowded but the food was serve in an acceptable time range, I did not over wait for my food. Would consider come back to try their bulgogi and fried Kimchi cheese ball, hopefully the meat is tender and more flavourful on my next visit.
Went there for a quick lunch, stir fry toppokki is delicious and spicy. There's a nice chewy texture on it. Just doesn't like the kimchi which is over sour.
Me and my wife have been coming here for over a year since we discovered it on a food delivery app. The jab chae, jjajangmyeon and kimchi stew were always amazing, for me this restaurant had the best jjajangmyeon and kimchi pancake in Subang Jaya. However today's experience was very poor, the kimchi pancake was totally different, it seemed as though it was something premade and reheated. The jjajangmyeon noodles were overcooked and the texture was akin to a regular loh Mee noodle. The black sauce was also watery and lacked flavour compared to the velvety sauce I am used to from Oiso. I used to recommend this Restaurant to all my friends, in its current state I would not recommend it to anyone. Hopefully this drop off in quality is due to the head chef taking break, or some other temporary complication.
The place was almost full compared to the other restaurants in this shopping mall. While the yukgaejang meh looks, the taste was surprisingly good. The noodles in Jjampong were unfortunately too soft, think in the broth to cook too early. As for the Pajeon, it looks like fried not long enough. overall taste was ok
