I've been curious since we've passed the place coming to and from Richmond to Clifton Forge up 340 and down Highway 11. Today, we stopped in. If you're in the area, it's worth the stop. Service was quick. The hotdogs and chili were excellent, and we'll be back. A six pack of hotdogs all the way was only $13 and change. The buns were steamed. The hotdogs were juicy with just the right resistance when you bite down, and the balance between the various condiments was near perfect. Hotdogs seem simple, but there is real craft in everything being balanced and mouth-happy right. If you are heading down I-64 or I-81, it's worth the detour. We'll be back.
