You can buy local food which you have to put in the oven (like lasagne) or pasta or some desserts. The woman of the shop doesn't speak English but she tries to be helpful and if you want you will understand her. We enjoyed lasagne a lot !! Recommended

We spent Christmas in Stresa this year and decided not to do any cooking. Ordered freshly made lasagna from ‘Le Fantasie della Pasta’ and chestnut stuffed turkey with potatoes as a second course. Collected the food warm from the oven at 1pm on Christmas Day and had the nicest Christmas lunch! The food is fantastic (we also tried fresh gnocchi and tortellini earlier on in the week; both wonderful)! We were with 12 people and everyone absolutely loved the food. Very well priced as well; I usually would spend a good deal more in shopping and would then have to do all the cooking. Wonderful service, wonderful and very helpful people.

Homemade filled pasta, a delicious pork, shallot and plum dish, and roasted eggplant parmigiana mmmm! Take away and reheat in an oven or boil the pasta at home. Really recommend. Ideal for feeding a traveling family, and very good value too. Better than many of the restaurants.

It was great to be able to buy easy to produce fresh pasta dinners from this super little place to eat in the comfort of our apartment. The shop assistant was very friendly and helpful in explaining what the different products were and how to cook them. We enjoyed the gnocchi with pesto and some ready cooked spinach and a lasagne ragu. The individual creme caramel was pretty good too. Thoroughly recommend. Plenty of locals shopping there too.

Every now and then I walk to this shop and buy excellent pasta to heat up at home. It is all home made, and delicious though not very expensive. Last time I bought Ragú for two and two filled tomatoes, the price was 6 euros, not bad.
