A limited but superb menu, we had the August menu first night and the September menu two nights later.As we are both non-meat eaters our choices were further limited but we still had a tough time making our selections within our parameters. The marinated fish mackerel In August, salmon in September) were both fabulous. My partner enjoyed the main course sea bream on both visits….I chose on visit one, the dumplings and on visit two the Gigli pasta….both cooked to perfection. If you have room for “Dolci” then we recommend both the Pannacotta and the Oriente. The owner’s son is the sommelier and chose a lovely light red wine to accompany our meals…so good we had it twice! Service is exceptional, making everyone feeling valued. If there is a better restaurant in Stresa….we would be surprised!!

Ristorante molto piacevole, ambiente semplice ma molto bello, cucina di qualità, con proposte di tradizione ma riviste con creatività. Decisamente consigliabile.

I love the idea of open kitchen that also opens the vision of the work done by the 2 cooks always at work to give the best to their customers. impeccable service, the owner matilde always present in the room and attentive to the needs of customers, you feel pampered;. the very competent son lorenzo organized a very varied and quality cellar, without speaking of his sweet, original, unique and well-kept.
