King's Pointe Resort - Storm Lake

Amy the manager went so far beyond and beyond helping our family at our stay, I can easily say she deserves an increase. Amy is a high standing member of the Storm Lake community. My family and I cannot say enough positive things about them! She blossomed our time in King's Pointe on her own. We never had a hotel/resort experience of this good everywhere, thanks to Amy!

We have a look at the King Lake and the honeymoon of my wife and we expected to go into the pool, but the interior was not open and we would not have booked it if we had done more research, it was sad, but it was our fault that we did not read thoroughly and planned. The room was wonderful, wishing the pillows were a bit firmer, bringing your own pillow if you could increase considerable comfort when you do. Blankets were wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. 10/10 would book correctly at the next visit to get happy full experience.

It has gone far downhill over the years. The rooms were clean, but very old. Peeling, very dark, our phone didn't work. Staff at the desk was friendly but not helpful when it came to check and phone did not work. Fitness centre was a candlestick with very old and minimal equipment. The outdoor areas are beautiful and lake view helps to bring the rating from 1 to 2. You need to make some renovations to improve the rooms soon!

Very nice staff and clean facility. You can say that they recently worked to clean it and it looks great. Lifeguards were very attentive and friendly. Excellent price for what you get. Nice to leave the pool and go to your room for a while and then back to the pool. Perfect local trip for families with small children. The view of the lake is also amazing. We will definitely come back!

Not enough floats for the lazy river or the ride that uses one. Food stand was inside by the kids inside park. Nachos and cheese was a bag of chips and cheese separate. The cheese was not enough for the bag of chips so get the extra cheese. Had 1 slide closed when we went. Other than that it was nice cool water. It was a fun time with family.
