Warrenside Tavern - Stewartsville

Beautiful tavern atmosphere, is long, eating was good. very pleasant.

After we left tonight and paid $45 for dinner that we didn't eat, chicken finger/mouth and a chicken caesar salad, we went to wendys dinner. said bartender that something was wrong with the dressur and she offered another dressing for an salat that was already dressed, how does that work? did not eat it, was not asked if I wanted something else, and actually she was not even interested. Why should she talk too busy with all the other people who were sitting in the bar and the last hour there. one of the many reasons why we stopped 2 years ago eating stinks, service sucks! they do not have gluten-free options. when we left to leave no one, nothing said to us, no thank you or a good night, but I guess the 5 waitress and the chef all at the bar half in the bag were too busy to leave us.

Best French onion soup ever, great service and have never had a bad meal in 15 plus years of going here.

I tried the Warrenside for the third time in the last five years. Once again, I left unimpressed. The food has always been just OK although on this last visit they did not have what I wanted to order. This post is really regarding the service. To preface it, I work in the service industry... More specifically the food industry. With that in mind I 'm always very sensitive and more forgiving than others when it comes to the level of service. I came in kind of later in the evening on a Friday night and sat a bit before I was given a menu. A minute later a group of four walked in and I could hear one of the waitresses saying Oh sh*t ! When they came in because I think she wanted to get out of there... I do have some history there... My cousin was a regular and my mom went there often in the 70s (she was a teacher at the school at the Presbyterian Church next-door). I think if you were regular I would love this place... That 's who they cater to but to walk in off the street you 're not gonna have the same experience. Honestly I can 't even remember what I ordered. I was just quite anxious to get out of there because I did not feel welcome. I think the owner needs to have a talk with these long-time waitresses and ask them to remember that everyone should be treated the same weather you 're there every night or Come in once a year. If you come in 15 minutes before closing then tell them that you 're closing and they can have a drink... Don 't complain about it an earshot of customers who are waiting for their meal They are there to make money and it starts with a good attitude. If you 're in a rush to get home... Remember while you 're there. And keep it to yourself. Only reason I 'm giving three stars is that I think if ownership takes it seriously this issue could be corrected. I may stop in again... Maybe next year.

Hadn't been there in quite a while. (because of Covid shut down) Went this past Sat. nite with 2 friends. I had baked Cod/with stuffed crab meat. I was really delicious. Prices are reasonable and the menu is very varied so it's great for families. Even though the place was crowded, the service was great. Looking forward to going back.
