Hilltop Tavern - Stevenstown

Our plan was to eat here as we had heard great things about this establishment. From the moment we walked in the bartender was rude and unprofessional. Absolutely horrendous service and attitudes, why would anyone drive out of their way to support this establishment when the staff could care less. We ordered old fashions and they were absolutely horrid. No wonder this place is for sale. The place had a few patrons when we arrived and certainly didn’t have a crowd. We can see why it’s for sale. We ordered our drink and left. Will never be back. Will never recommend ever.

Was lucky enough to be in the area on a Sunday that they were doing chicken. Food was amazing and fast to get to us. The bartender was very nice. Didn't feel like I was an outsider at all not being a local.

Hilltop is a favorite place of ours. Always good food and friendly staff. Best prime rib on Saturday nights too!

I highly recommend trying the Specialty Burger, Friday Fish Fry, and Pan Fried Walleye. These dishes were all delicious and definitely worth trying. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

It was a fantastic seafood restaurant. I ordered the grilled fish with baked potatoes, topped with a salad with lemon slices. Being gluten-free, I have to be careful with my choices, but everything worked out perfectly!
