Mission Bbq - Sterling

Visited MISSION BBQ for the first time. Picked up some Moist Brisket and Saint Luis Spare Rib Bones for dinner. We paired everything with mash potatoes and tomatoes salad at home. Oh my gosh! Words do no justice to the delicious meat we picked from MISSION BBQ. I am not a meat eater by all means, however I was extremely impressed the the juiciness and the flavor of the meat. Absolutely delicious! I went for seconds :)This was my first time at MISSION BBQ; I love their interior design; from the moment you enter the restaurant, the entire atmosphere, the friendliness, smiling faces, and delicious smell of smoked meat, now that is a good and awesome American fast food restaurant!The service was impressive. They all make you feel that ‘you belong’ I don’t know how to describe it. I loved it.Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures, but surely will go back for more!Kid-friendliness: The restaurant can accommodate kids very well and there are good dishes that will be delicious for children as well.Parking: Very easy to access the restaurant with plenty of parking spaces and fast pickup if needed.

Love the tenderness of the meats. Ribs delicious. Just a little too salty.Update.I tried the baby back ribs again last night at Parc City Ctr location...seasoned perfectly!Had beans and mac n cheese as sides and that yummy cornbread. Missed the banana pudding but got the strawberry shortcake instead and loved it.

Outstanding! We live 20 minutes away, and still come here at least once a week. Very friendly staff, always super clean, and top notch food. Well worth a drive.

My friends call it the Walmart of bbq, but I just don’t think that’s fair. Their bbq is delicious and has something a lot of smaller bbq joints don’t: consistency. I’ve eaten at mission dozens of times and enjoyed the same moist brisket, flavorful chicken, and just right pork. Is it the best bbq you could possibly have? I’ve probably had better at a few places on their best days. But mission is pretty darn good and their sauces are among the best variety in the business. Their sides are all delicious; not all amped up with added spices to the point they make you empty your glass after every bite of collard greens or baked beans. Mission is a chain, but the employees I’ve dealt with have been friendly and helpful, and their food is really good. The value for the money is definitely there, too. Get yourself a 3 meat sampler with a couple sides and share it with your partner, no need for two entrees unless you’re both very hardy eaters. Their smoked sausage is unexpectedly wonderful as well (I always add it to my sampler).I look forward to mission, and even occasionally pick it up and take it home as our family dinner. So far, it hasn’t disappointed. 5 stars for that rare combination of good service, fair prices compared to other bbq, and really good food.
