Great ramen place that I frequent all over the USA. I always get the vegan flying harvest with as much black garlic oil as possible!
I recently dined at this restaurant and tried the new dish featuring bamboo shoots. It was a great option for Veganuary. I highly recommend it.
I visited this restaurant only once, so consider this a traveler's perspective. The spicy creamy tofu vegan ramen, despite my request for extra spice, was not spicy at all but still tasty. However, the tofu was a disappointment. It seemed like it was prepared by someone who doesn't like tofu, as it was cold, soft, and flavorless, ruining an otherwise decent ramen. There was no effort to marinate or flavor the tofu in the broth or otherwise. I also tried the quinoa salad, which I found to be pretty good. However, I thought the portion size was too small and the price of $11 was too high for what was offered, especially considering there were no standout qualities.
I don't think cubed tofu in ramen is authentic, but I was impressed with the delicious and satisfying miso ramen I had. The curry smelled authentic and tantalizing while we waited. Although they offer three vegan ramen options, it's more like 2.5. It might be a lot to ask for vegan tantanmen or char siu made of seitan from a chain restaurant, but they could at least consider adding shoyu ramen to the menu.
