Przekaż informację zwrotnąI stopped working on my way home. it is a beautiful place for quick dinner. this time I had the chicken parmesan, but I had the pizza in the past. the biggest challenge was from the parking lot in the middle of the Friday night rush hour traffic.
Place is weird, rather empty, odd atmosphere, but good food. The Waiter was an elderly man and although I ordered a brisket sandwich, I got their regular double cheeseburger, I was very hungry at the time and I just wanted food I wasn’t too picky so I ate it without saying anything and I was very happy that I did because that was such a good hamburger that it made me forget about what I originally ordered
The pizza was decent but not remarkable, and it was definitely overpriced. The outdoor seating created a lovely atmosphere, but the service could use some improvement.
Coal Fire, like many restaurants, has been affected by staffing shortages due to COVID and various government aid programs. Unfortunately, this has become the new normal in our world. As a patron, I want to recognize the local businesses that have made efforts to retain their staff and express my gratitude to the hardworking employees who have persevered during this challenging time. Tonight, Danielle, who stepped in from the Burke location, and Zane, who has taken on extra hours to help fill staffing gaps, provided me with exceptional service. They truly went above and beyond to represent the talented pizza makers behind the scenes. Coal Fire is fortunate to have Danielle, Zane, and the dedicated team of pizza artists working tonight. If you choose to support this business, please be kind and understanding towards the staff who are putting in the effort. They are not receiving government assistance; they are genuinely committed to their work.
The cheese pizza was quite good, but unfortunately, I can't say the same for the wings or the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. The wings tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, and the sandwich was rather dry. On a positive note, the service was fast and very respectful. The coleslaw and flatbread pieces were delicious!
