Godfather's Pizza Express - Steele

Brandy and Caitlin refused to sell me two god father pizza saying I have to buy the pizza on one register and my drink on another. So I refused to run my card for a drink then two of your pizza's. They sale pizza at the gas pumps during the day andcan't at night. I did not get the pizza.

I drove south of Huntsville to get my wife her favorite pizza from Godfather's for her birthday. I accidentally forgot to choose a crust option, so we ended up with the thick crust. Surprisingly, it was really good! It wasn't excessively thick, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed by bread. The pizza was generously topped and loaded with cheese that melted perfectly over the toppings without pulling away from the crust. The crust itself was crispy and packed with flavor. This Godfather's is located at a Love's Truck Stop next to a Subway. I ordered ahead, so the pizza was fresh and delicious. I can't comment on the personal pan pizzas available in the 'pizza tower,' though.

I hadn't had the opportunity to enjoy Godfather's Pizza since the 1990s, and I have to say, it still stands out as the best commercial pizza chain in the world! That rich, golden cheese is unmatched—no other pizza place compares!

The equipment at The Godfather's Express isn't fully operational at this location. Orders placed and paid for electronically may not always be received by the staff. However, the staff were very apologetic and offered a couple of extras to make up for the inconvenience.

I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy Godfather's Pizza since the 1990s. It's truly the best pizza chain in the world! The golden cheese is unmatched; no other pizza place compares.
