The Rustic Coffee Lounge - STANTHORPE

I went to the restaurant in the late morning for a late breakfast of coffee and pancakes. The cafe was somewhat busy, but it took a bit of time for the coffee to be served. The latte had a good strength and temperature, but the foam reminded me of a cappuccino from the 1980s. The pancakes were simple and of a good size (serving of 2), topped with maple syrup and a side of ice cream. Overall, the food was decent, but the atmosphere was not very welcoming.

Had a hamburger with the lot. Good old fashioned food with great service. Came out in a timely fashion. The only negative was my dining partners meat was slightly undercooked. Coffee was excellent. Will be back.

This cafe is wonderful with excellent service! We ordered the omelette and hot chocolate. The omelette was delicious with generous fillings, it seemed like they used at least 3 eggs in it. Great job guys!

After reading the owner's response to someone else's review, I will definitely come back more often than I do now- that was great! I love this place. It has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food and service are excellent. Every time I have visited, I have been greeted with a smile. I especially enjoy their coffee. I would give it 10 stars if I could. :D
