Not my favourite coffee but okay. Really worth experiencing the cakes and slices - they're beautiful to look at and wonderful to taste.
My daughter and I did a road trip that included a couple of days in Stanthorpe. Apart from the obvious, wine and apples, a morning visit to the little bread and coffee shop was a highlight. It's a family owned business where, we were told by a local, the parents makes the savoury pastries and their daughter the sweets.I had a beef and lots pastie and my daughter a bacon & egg tart. She said it was the best tart she'd ever had and my pastie was just right. We got sweets and coffee to go and went for a walk around brisk cool Stanthorpe. If you go to Stanthorpe you must visit the little bread and coffee shop.
I won't say this was the worst coffee I've had, but it certainly came close. The milk had a rather strange taste and after a couple of mouth fulls and I put it in the conveniently located bin near the bakery. I'm sure there are a load of great places in Stanthorpe to get coffee, but this isn't one of them.
We visted this cafe for brekky and lunch 3 times over 4 days and found it to have one of the best coffees and baked products around. We had a choice of Sausage rolls Pies Toasted Sandwiches Pizza breads the list goes on and on with a eat inside outside option.Strongly advise anyone travelling though Stanthorpe drop in and sample some of baked treats you wont be disappointed!
First class service, top quality food, Lovely coffee, thank you. Rave Rave Rave. What more can I say ?. Suffice that all eight of my party, who are volunteer emergency workers were very happy with the enjoyable experience.
