JJ's The Rocks - STANTHORPE

Had a Great feed of Korean Food here. The food was fresh, tasty affordable and authentic. Good friendly service. The restaurant is just north of Stanthorpe hidden away a bit behind the servo in the bush. Highly recommend this place

Great Korean and Japanese food. The Kimchi is devine as is the sushi, eel and the Spicy Seafood Soup...oh okay all the food is nice.Good alcohol prices for Korean and Japanese beers as well as saki. Service is exceptional.What a find. Located within Honeysuckle Cottages (and they are great as well).Situated just outside Stanthorpe, but if you are staying in Stanthorpe, well worth a visit.

As locals we had heard many bad reviews and many positive reviews and I am so glad we gave JJ's a try. We ordered 4 types of sushi, tempura veggies and steamed dumplings. The sushi comes as 2 or 4 pieces depending on type and the dumplings and tempura were big servings! The tempura was a bit heavy for us but would be a fine option for those wanting a more "western" meal and kids. The dumplings were great - full of flavour and pieces you could actually see. And the sushi! Wow. I like sushi but it isn't something I always go for... I'll be back just for the sushi! We had the tuna mayo roll, the flying fish row sushi, prawn nigiri sushi and deep fried crab meat sushi - the latter being the definite best but all were great. Would be great with a group to try a bit of everything. Great service too!

When you are the only causcasian peopl in the Restaurant you know its going to be good Asian fare...and it was!

My husband and I stayed at the cottages and walked down and ordered. It was quick and tasty food the tempura was lovely the servings are extremely large so value for money as well!
