Lucky Gardens Chinese Restaurant

I love the buffet at this restaurant. There is a great variety of food options including both Chinese and Canadian dishes. The food is always hot and fresh. The atmosphere is quiet and calming, making it a great place to dine. I highly recommend it.

This place is horrible! It is quite possibly the worst food I have EVER seen! When I got to work and opened the box I was pretty grossed out. It seemed like last nights food microwaved. And I doubt it was good last night either. I didn't try a bite, so I cannot say how it tasted. I immediately threw it in the trash. I did not call to complain, but I think someone should be calling the health inspector on this establishment!

My husband and I recently had lunch at this restaurant and tried the Tai Dop Voy and Moo Koo Guy Pan, both of which were fresh and delicious. These dishes consist of vegetables and various meats. It does not seem like there is a buffet available at this restaurant, except perhaps for special occasions. I am not sure what the previous reviewer was referring to. Regarding complaints about dishes being too sweet, there are plenty of options available without syrup or sweet sauces. Our dishes were not overly sweet. The kitchen can be noisy and could benefit from some soundproofing. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, so there is still work to be done inside. The water had a strange taste to me, but my husband did not notice. However, this might have been due to my glass not being rinsed well enough. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the portions are generous.

This restaurant is not good at all. The food tastes like it is full of MSG and everything is overly sweet and boring. I am craving a real Chinese restaurant in this area.

We ordered from this place again tonight like we always have. My wife choked on this chicken bone. After she was ok I called to let them know about a bone in the fried rice. They weren't overly concerned about it and said next time free rice for you. Obviously my response after that was, there won't be a next time if you serve food like that. So he hangs up. I wasn't looking for anything free, just bringing it to attention. However had this been my young 8 year old choking on this. This would have been a totally different review. I will never order from this place again. Customer support is not in there vocabulary.
