Mallery Street Cafe - St. Simons

VERY UNWELCOMING. Walked out. Would NOT recommend to distinct ethnicities or people, unless you would like to get awkwardly stared at.

One of two of my favorite places to go for breakfast

This was not a great experience. I got the banana foster crepes, and it is literally a whole banana wrapped inside of a thin pancake. I’m not sure if they do it differently, but the description does not state that’s how they are. The bagel wasn’t toasted like I requested, and the server checked on us once and before we could respond, she was already walking away. Also, the check was placed on our table before we were even done eating, which felt like she was rushing us to leave. The staff is overall friendly, but the service definitely could’ve been better, as well as the food.

We had a very pleasant dining experience. The food and service were good. It didn’t knock my socks off, but there was plenty to eat. I had one of the biscuits with my meal and it was awesome! We rolled in about 8 on a week day and it started filling up fast. Overall, you can’t go wrong with a decent breakfast here.

Great food, good coffee, and friendly service. Will be back!
