The place is screaming out for a deep clean and a good gerni of the eating area. A good wash down of the walls, dripping in grease and dust is needed. Great value and quick service. The place felt extremely dirty, which detracted from the enjoyment of the food.
I love this simple, student-budget friendly little hub close to UQ St lucia. I used to come here for lunch all the time. After 2 years overseas it delivers and lives up to my delicious memories. It's now called Saigon Yummy.
Chez Tessa is a relatively new addition to the fast changing and high attrition st Lucia village strip. Popular with students we’ve had lunch several times. The satay sticks, tofu and seafood soup, mans beef pho noodles were all very good. The menu also features curry, Singapore noodles and other southeast Asian dishes. Generally good quality and fast service .... great place,
My partner and I ordered Pho and were disappointed that the Pho stock tasted like it was made 5 minutes earlier. It was weakly seasoned water with too much five spice added to compensate for the lack of flavour due to taking such a huge shortcut in the preparation of the stock. The chicken was an unnatural white colour with a similarly unnatural taste. This has to be the cheapest, nastiest most tasteless and disappointing Pho we had ever eaten. Don 't order the Pho from this establishment. I don 't know what the rest of the food is like but if the Pho is anything to go by, I would give this place a very wide berth. I wish that we had googled some reviews before choosing to eat here. The 'chef ' and owner should be ashamed of what they produced and served, it was a disgrace.
This place has been trading for decades..it has a range of Asian food offerings at very reasonable prices to fit with a student budget....nothing special but reliable as a cheap eats place
