The Post Hotel - St Kilda

Place has great beer. Food is mediocre, steak is like shoe leather, but I guess you pay for what you get. Most of the servers are cool, but the Filipino bartender is dreadful, no manners whatsoever, I presume she must be dating the owner to keep her job...

Felt like a Parma midweek and this one hit the spot , service was great and friendly . And although it was a nice Parma with salad and chips it was pretty expensive at $24 dollars and maybe I'm a bit naive to think it may be a bit cheaper ? But those cheap Parma and pot pubs sell average parmas . Overall great meal and I will visit again .Cheers

First time here, service is friendly but food is pretty average with not much choice. Shnitzel was generous in size but chewy and overcooked. Steak looked nice but was also over cooked. Pork riblets were swimming in sauce and didn't look very appetizing at all. All in all there is plenty of room for improvement

The atmosphere and servers were nice enough, but I thought the food was horrible. First I ordered the Okinomioke that was undercooked (chef denied that it was) sorry pal I don't eat raw dough , then they kindly made me the calamari in replace. I mean who could mess up calamari, it came really quick...which means...Yup soggy and undercooked again.it was cut Sooooooo thick! Not to mention the pool of cooking oil at the bottom. And the prawns...waaaaay to small, with the shells and heads still on it, deep fried and dusted in something. No thanks. Was not pleased, and very unsatisfied. Fire the chef and update the menu, I mean if u are a pub serve REAL pub food, not your version of a bunch of Asian dishes, and don't be so concerned with being gluten free, people still like their crispy calamari.

Old school St Kilda pub that has been done up. Have eaten here a few times and only once was it below par considering the price. Good beers on tap and clean lines.
