If you favour a good selection of beers and cider then find somewhere else. Standard beer selection, which is a shame because they could be the leading edge in the area. Food is pretty good. In terms of a night spot im happy. If come here for a starter then move on

Value for money and tasty food on a Thursday night. $25 fillet steak and Stoneleigh wine - steak is 10/10 and Pinot Noir is a great drop. Nice outdoor area so enjoy a summer evening - give it a go.

Metropol was one of the worst food experiences I have had in Melbourne, we got pizzas which were pretty poor and a vegetarian platter which appeared to be frozen samosas, spring rolls etc. reheated in a microwave.

Such a shame as this venue had such potential, however a recent visit one Saturday night and it was bad bad bad. First no vodka, then told they had run out of tap beer, then the icing on the cake was a glass of wine... Wait for it, served in a pot glass because they had no wine glasses!! Such a shame

Good menu, good atmosphere and good drink selection. Love it!
