As a music venue, I'm not so crazy about this place.

I've wandered up to Newfoundland several times, when I was out of a job in the US and just wanted to spend some time at "the end of the world".

We popped in for a snack one day while visiting downtown. Place had just opened. I had the salted meat grill cheese, and the wife had a burger. Salted meat was not what I thought , way to salty for me but after spreading it around the sandwich I managed to eat most of it. Wife did not like her burger, thinking back she thinks it might have been moose meat, which was not explained to us or mentioned on the menu. Other couples food was better, maybe an off day for us? But the beer was cold and the service was very good so will go back.

My husband and I popped in because I wanted to try to the fish cakes. Well you better like fish cakes cuz you get three in an order; luckily I do! My husband ordered a special pork belly sandwich which was also very good. SUPER friendly waitress rounded out a great experience!
