Pi Gourmet Eatery - St. John's

The pizza was the best we have ever had, perfect crust, yummy sauces, and quality toppings. The salads were great with unique and delicious dressings. We met the owner and she told us she creates all the dressings herself and has won numerous competitions. The...exquisite food was in a casual atmosphere with exceptional service. Our server was attentive and warm, conversational but not overbearing. He made the experience extra special. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but is a true gem of St. John’s.

The food was a 5. The service was a 1. I split the difference and gave a 3. It was pretty bad. Our server acted like she hadn’t been around people before. From start to finish just rude and standoffish. I don’t think it was...on purpose, just more of a personality trait. I will never forget her dropping (not setting) the plates on our table from 2-3 inches off the table and seeing my kids eyes go wide ...lol. On the positive we spoke to our kids about the importance on manners afterwards, so it was good teaching moment. Food was delicious ! Obviously a lot of care went into its preparation.

Went there two days in a row. The lunch special is very economical and yummy too. lots of choices to put on the pizza. Friendly staff.

Pi is a well established place in SJ and I have been there every time we go. Love the ambience/decor and it is very comfortable. The food is consistently good and the variety of flavours is perfect for our family, who can never agree. Love...it!

Caesar was garlicky and had mushrooms, nice change. Pizza was awesome, lots of choices. Local beer available. Friendly staff.
