Sequerra's Restaurant - St. John's

The food here is pretty decent, with large portion sizes. The food is decent. It's not the best Chinese food around though. Still can't go wrong with this.

This place is very cute, locally run and the staff are so friendly. The food was ok, though the egg rolls were not good (very strange, sweet flavor and the general chicken wasn't right either. They did have a lovely carrot cake on the dessert cart that I really liked : Not a bad lunch buffet for $16.

The three things I look for in a restaurant are Egg rolls, fried rice and chowmein. Neither were good in my opinion. The other few items on the buffet were edible, but not great in my opinion. I appreciated those things that did have some flavour, General chicken and chicken balls and a sweet pork dish, but they didn't make up for the all you can eat. Wait staff was attentive and friendly.

The food is not so bad but it's a little insipid and the pork had a too strong flavour. Wonton without filling but the spring rolls were tasty. The soup was good.

Some of my friends love this place. I however, don't. Been here twice. The buffet selection is 8-10 things MAX. I feel it's over priced for the items I like to eat. Spare ribs were bones or fatty, and the sauce was mostly water. Veggies were to crisp for my liking. There basically raw. I'm not impressed. Some people like it.... I don't know why. Good Luck
