My wife and myself visited this Cora's for breakfast this A.M. My wife was impressed that they had turkey sausages. I ordered my usual. We waited for what seemed forever 30 minutes) for our food. What was presented to us was stone cold. I had ordered eggs over easy with my breakfast and got hard. My wife ordered white toast ,was given whole wheat. she has a sensitivity to whole wheat) Hash browns were icy cold and even warm were terrible. I used to enjoy coming to this Cora's but service and quality has slipped. The lady at the next table who came in 20 minutes after us ordered had her food brought to her table 2 minutes after we got ours. We got alot of apologies for the poor experience but still had to pay full price. This is my last visit to this Cora's
Came in for Breakfast, and left stuffed. Friendly warm Newfoundland Hospitality, excellent menu choices and a ton of food on your plate. Only downside is the bacon was very disappointing and more like that microwavable bacon than the real stuff. Other than that everything else was perfect.
Was told 30 min wait. Waited 1 a half until we just gave up. 2 hrs later, staff call say table is ready. We have a little one with us for a restaurant trip that is supposed to be quick and easy this was a disaster. Do not recommend this coras, nor did the staff apologize for the wait. We did not end up dining because this restaurant did not deserve our business. Not to mention this was supposed to be a mother’s day breakfast. Absolutely horrendous.
Cora’s can be hit or miss on a good day. It’s been so long since I’ve been to one (or to any restaurant) I forgot that. Most Cora restaurants are overly air conditioned. Today was no different and the food was of course cold by the time we received it. With so many businesses requiring extra cleaning and staff to wear masks, I was surprised to see that wasn’t the case at Cora’s. Not a mask in sight. Tables were sprayed cleaned as normal but the seating and other areas of contact were not cleaned in the hour or so I was there. With so many businesses stepping up during this pandemic, it was saddening to see Cora not. I doubt I’ll be back. Cold food, slow service and mask-less servers, I’ll spend my money somewhere that cares about its staff and customers.
