Good service! Love the food!! Me and my husband went for lunch.Try the fried pickles! We got the fish tacos and southwest chicken tacos. Delicious! We will be going back! :

A proud supporter of all things local and reasonably healthy menu items, Romby’s Tavern serves the usual pub fare with health conscious dishes sprinkled-in. The restaurant has called St. Catharines home for 30 years and in 2010, the Wilson family continued to run the restaurant with a few changes of their own. A shift in food and lifestyle cause a change in their menu as well. We all know when you go to a pub you want smoked meats, wings, nachos, and all the greasy foods your body can’t handle because, why not? The new owners kept those traditional items and added healthier options for those who prefer not to poison their bodies. Chef Chris gets creative with exciting and fresh flavours in his dishes.

Wonderful spot! Romby's is heavily involved in community service and fundraising. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the beer selection is outstanding.

Romby's has been a staple in St. Catharines for 30 years, and I have always enjoyed its cozy bar atmosphere. The new owners, who are young and smart, have had some challenges as they try to appeal to both the old regulars and the younger crowd. However, it seems like things have settled down now, and everyone seems to be happy. The beer is cold and reasonably priced, and the service is generally friendly, except for one grumpy staff member who should probably stay behind the scenes. The food is decent, but I was expecting better considering they now smoke and barbecue their own meats. I haven't been impressed with anything I've tried so far, and some dishes taste overly sauced and past their expiration date. Prices are a bit on the high side, as I ended up spending $70 on a lunch of a sandwich, fish and chips, and 6 pints. I remember when Rombeys used to serve a delicious pepper steak with salad – those were the days. Overall, I still think it's a great place, and the new management is implementing some enjoyable changes that will appeal to many. I just hope they can maintain its appeal to all ages.

Best bar in St Catharines. Great bands, great food and friendly staff make this my favourite bar in St. Catharines. Try the wolverine wings and you'll never go anywhere else for wings again!
