I always make sure to stop by this place for my coffee and cake fix when I visit St Ives every year. The soy flat white here is the best I've ever had, always served nice and hot. Their cakes and biscuits are delicious too.
We were visiting the area and got a late start on a Sunday morning. We walked to the St Ives centre for brunch and thought Three Beans had the healthiest menu. Located next to Woolies it was pretty busy spot, but service was quick, friendly and very attentive. I had the superfood wrap(which can be served grilled on request) and the Cocoa Banana smoothie. Both were really tasty, but I would have enjoyed the smoothie more if it was thicker like a true smoothie, rather than being more milky consistency. My partner went with the burger and enjoyed it as well. Definitely would recommend choosing Three Beans if you are shopping in the centre and looking for a quick, healthy meal.
We had lunch here. The service was very nice and friendly. The place was busy but the wait for food was minimal as we ordered sandwiches from the display case. They were nice. The coffees were a bit bitter but good strong flavour to balance the bitterness so it was decent coffee overall.
I visited the cafe for lunch during the school holidays with my boys, who were arguing and making me feel on edge. I was in desperate need of caffeine, and luckily the cafe had recently been renovated and looked great. I ordered a large skinny latte, which arrived quickly and was just what I needed. Although the service was a bit slow due to the lunch rush, the food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff was lovely. The superfood salad was excellent, as good as I remembered or even better. The boys enjoyed their toasted cheese and ham sandwiches, side salad garnish, and mini lamb sliders. The smoothies were tasty, but I wasn't sure if they were made with soy milk. We missed the coloring pencils and paper that used to be provided for children. This cafe is definitely the best spot for coffee in the Shopping Centre.
