Eagle's Nest Resort - Squinas 2

I had contacted the resort a head of time to inform them that I was vegetarian, and they were extremely accommodating, providing great meals.

We had a most romantic and best view of the evening from our table at Eagle Nest Resort...we had a special cake baked by the hosts for the evening...we are very grateful and it made our visit and dinner all the more special...

Lovely dining area, large windows with view, antiques & linens make it special. However, the meal was so-so with few vegetables & lacklustre meat. High priced for mediocre fare. Friendly server/manager. I had curried butternut soup which was ok and the Schnitzel a bit better but with barely cooked large pieces of carrot & a few cooked slices of red & yellow peppers.

Really nice owner. Superb food and not too over priced. Very surprised to find such a nice place in such a secluded spot. Excellent bc wines too.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the dining room decor (upscale old European) and delighted by the quality and presentation of the meals. Tim's service was impeccable, friendly and knowledgeable - the chef is to be commended, worthy of a 5 Star restaurant in the big city.
