Fabulous small town cafe with yummy home made food! Free wifi, heartwarming and funny owner and definitely the place to meet the locals

My husband worked paving in Nimpo in which I stayed for 3 weeks. Loved going up to visit Maria. Always friendly, always welcoming. Awesome food and baking.

Always nice to stop and talk to Maria and Buddy who runs the adjacent towing service. We have been stopping there for many years and always enjoy visiting and hearing what is happening in the area. We enjoy the pizza, fresh bread and soup.

The bakery & cafe is owned and operated by the same woman who prepares and serves all the food. The selection is limited to hearty breakfasts and lunches, which are big and tasty. The cafe operates only during the summer.

Super friendly service when we stopped here for lunch. Delicious home made burgers filled us up, but we couldn't resist a piece of pie to follow. And then it would have been a shame not to buy a brownie, a cookie and a piece of carrot cake to take with us...Good fresh food at reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere.This wasn't fast food, and we didn't mind waiting a few minutes as we could see our meals being prepared. The food was wroth the wait, too.
