Gelatissimo - SPRINGFIELD CENTRAL

I love going into gelatissimo! The staff are friendly, the place is clean and they have a nice selection of gelatos and you can even have take away. For everyone that has a sweet tooth. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. They don't just sell gelato's but they also sell milkshakes and doughnuts which I am yet to try :) I have visited the one in the city so I knew the quality of gelato I was getting and the quality is best.

Always sensational here. Portions are good. Price is a little bit average. Plenty of flavours to choose from and also other dessert treats available e.g. Ice cream filled donuts

The staff are really friendly and always get good service here.. The ice cream is really tasty and is made fresh in the store.. a large variety to pick from as well..

It was a quick Friday night trip to Gelatissimo's - my first visit to one of their stores. The service was friendly and helpful, and the choices were many and varied. We had two single cones (one Belgian Chocolate and one Peanut Butter Fudge) and two gelato donuts (one Belgian Chocolate and one Strawberry Bubblegum).All were generous serves and all were delicious. No complaints. Little Master commented "It was alright; tasted like a deep fried ice-cream sandwich." Alright? Alright?? Didn't have deep-fried ice-cream sandwiches around when I was a kid - certainly nothing I'd ever be nonchalant about. Kids these days...I digress. If you're in the area of Orion Shopping Centre and have a hankering for a gelato or ice cream, this would be the place to go. Next time I'll try the affogato too.

As a somewhat judgmental person, part of me wanted to hate this place because it is a massive corporate chain.
