Ridgewood Cafe - Springfield

The salad at this restaurant was excellent, but be cautious if you're not a fan of Skyline chili - their version includes cinnamon, which I personally did not enjoy. The water also did not meet my standards; I ended up needing some Alka-Seltzer.

This restaurant is a great spot for lunch in Springfield. Just make sure to avoid visiting on Mondays, as they are closed. We tried a variety of their appetizers, all of which were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the pretzel sticks. For my main course, I had a delicious burger and fries. The patio seating was a nice touch, although the indoor seating looked quite cozy as well.

Spent a few days near this spot and came here twice during our stay. Awesome food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. Will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in the area!

I always look for local establishments when I travel and Ridgewood didn't disappoint. Kind, quick service, despite bring 90 mind before closing. Tasty food, too! Will definitely go back.
