Just moved in the area from Clearwater. Figured I'd stop by after a round of golf for a quick Togo dinner. I'm very very picky about my sushi. Been to many many sushi restaurants so I'm always willing to give a new place a shot. When I do go to a new place I will go with the very basic rolls spicy tuna California rolls and I'll grab one specialty roll. Spicy tuna very very fishy. This tells me the tuna isn't fresh. California roll eh they are what they are I then got to the springhill roll their recommendation. It was eh as well. Will I go back? Probably not. I'll probably drive into new port richey for Kazu's.
Great place for sushi. First place we tried after we moves to the area. Really like it.
Nice and clean atmosphere and good service.A little quiet and considering I have children, it would be nice if they played music just to drown out some of the noise hehe. The food was overall good but not something I'll crave.I liked the soft shell crab, but ponzu sauce or something similar would've tasted better than the sauce provided.I did like the sesame chicken, and my children liked the chicken nuggets and french fries.Don't remember what the other 2 rolls were snd if my husband liked them, but I liked the salmon skin roll.I would love if they had a lion king roll. My husband said the egg foo young was okay.
Sushi was great, the specialty rolls were delicious! We had the sushi pizza as an appetizer, I loved it, so much flavor. We had the fried cheesecake for dessert, that was enough for two! Prices are great and waitress was so attentive to us and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. We went back a week later for more.
