Loco Ono Poke Hawaiian Bbq (sparks)

I’ve been to this place twice and my 1st experience was so amazing I went back a 2nd time with my sister(Aug 1, 2023 about 12:30p) within just a few days of our 1st dine in. I was so disappointed to have experienced such awful customer service by 2 of your workers one named Chris and the other Olivia. We were caught off guard when I happened to see them huddling and laughing after we had asked for ginger. We shook it off up until we were about to walk out that Olivia kept staring looking annoyed! So I asked are you ok? Are you mad? To which she was surprised cause she didn’t know I was watching her facials. She quickly changed her attitude and from the back Chris comes out of nowhere..yelling we can refuse service…you can’t talk to my coworker like that..while I’m trying to explain he had no idea what was going on…so I’m here because he said, if you have a problem leave us a review on yelp! We exchanged words…we left and tried calling to ask their names..to which Chris answered said uhhh then hung up. We called again and someone else answered. On top of that we were more disappointed to find he didn’t put crab salad on our poke..lol even after tipping them, they seemed to be very unhappy..upset for some reason. You have an awesome establishment…great food! People pay good money for a good experience all around. I’m sure you are aware that customer service goes a long way and can affect your business tremendously. I hope you take this review into consideration. People have bad days…yes! But it should not be taken out on ur customers. People get paid to do a job the best they can. Thank you. -Vee

So ono! I don’t often take the time to leave a review, but this was so good, I just had to give recognition. My wife and I are moving cross-country from the Midwest to California. After a long day of driving from Salt Lake City, we arrived in the Reno area. I ordered a combo with teri chicken and mochiko chicken, both of which were excellent. The mochiko chicken was especially good- crunchy and flavorful. The rice and mac salad were on point. I also got a side of kimchi, which was good and authentic (I am picky, being part Korean). My wife got a poke bowl, which was very fresh and tasty. The musubi was done correctly, and was great.Overall, the food compared very favorably to local grindz we have enjoyed in the islands. It really hit the spot and lifted our spirits in the midst of a long journey. I highly recommend this place for anyone in the mood for Hawaiian! So ono! Thanks! ?

Teri chicken was so delicious I am so happy I found this place. I had been looking for a good hawaiian restaurant and finally found it. Will definitely go back.

Both wife and I had the big poke plate. Shocked by the fact it comes with 5 protein. All of the other fixings really put this over the top in terms of deliciousness. Also had the salmon belly tacos. Wow. Totally not expecting the belly to be panko breaded and tempura fried. This was a shocking surprise that was unplanned. Very highly recommended.

I eat here often and it's always top notch. The fish is always super fresh and their hot plates are always on point. 10/10 any day of the week. Perfect choice for trying to get those healthy macro nutrients in ???
