Koko - Southbank

I attempted to provide feedback regarding this issue through Koko's automatic email system. Although the owners or managers did reach out to us a few days later to follow up, there has been no further communication since then. I am quite disappointed with the lack of attention to food safety and the absence of a follow-up response. After waiting for more than a month without any updates, I felt compelled to share my experience in a Google review. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $180–200

This restaurant seems to rely heavily on the chef of the day. We returned for another visit, but this time the chef was just average. We ordered the same menu bundle as before, but the taste was noticeably different. It's a bit of a gamble, especially considering the prices aren't low. The original $190 menu was impressive, featuring delicious fried rice and outstanding seafood, while the other dishes were decent given the cost. The staff was clever and attentive; I noticed this when I moved my glass to the left side. I appreciated that they treated Asian customers with the same respect as white customers. I will definitely come back next time, but I'll make sure to book the pan-fried service!

Had the MOMIJI set for a birthday celebration. The standard was well below what one would expect for the price of $120 per head. The dishes tasted no better than the typical shopping centre Japanese restaurant. Service was good and ditto the ambiance, which is really what you're paying for. Similarly priced options in the CBD such as Kisume and Izayaka Den are fart superior. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–120

Foie gras is the best, fresh lobster grill and miso also unforgettable !
