La Hacienda 21 - Southaven

I had been eagerly looking forward to the Mole Rojo; I imagined it would be delicious and comforting on a cold winter evening. My youngest son was excited too, and we both planned to order it. Unfortunately, they were out of stock. What a disappointment! In the end, I opted for the carnitas, which turned out to be quite good. Other members of the group ordered burritos and quesadillas, and everyone said the food was just as good as we remembered. The staff was friendly and apologetic about the Mole situation. We were seated almost immediately, and our meals arrived promptly. The restaurant was not very busy that evening, which made for a nice, quiet dining experience. I think we might just reinstate La Hacienda into our dining rotation!

I ordered the Pollo Blanco, which was supposed to come with pineapple. However, I only found out after the food arrived—when I asked about the pineapple—that they were out of it. Instead, I received chicken, cheese, and bacon. They were not accommodating regarding my order, so I ended up paying full price for a rather average meal. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The dishes are well-prepared and truly authentic. The staff is friendly, and you won’t have to wait long for seating or your meals. The food is packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. There's an endless selection of various dishes to choose from. They serve the best chips and salsa within a 100-mile radius. This spot is a top choice for Mexican food. The only thing they're missing is Coke Zero!

I'm utterly disgusted and disappointed. There was a roach in my queso!!! I had to starve while at work because of this and they wouldn't even answer the phone. This was my first and LAST time!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

The fajitas were huge, and so good. Lots of steak and chicken. The restaurant was clean and very friendly. Perfect location. The staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely be our go-to Mexican place from now on.
