Peconic Prime Meats is a more dependable option compared to Lobel's, and outperforms Scotto's or Esposito's. Though the staff may be grumpier than Laughing, Steve's passion for quality shines through in their consistently high-quality products. The marinades and rubs at Steve's are top-notch and hard to beat, as are their unique cuts and inventive sausages. Before Steve brought his vision to life, customers had to visit multiple shops to find all the products they needed in one place.

The staff was very friendly and cheerful. They helped me select the perfect cut of brisket for my application. The prices were competitive. I was expecting higher since the shop is located in Southampton village, but no. They had the same if not better than most Mom and Pop shops. But let's be honest you can't get quality meat without paying for it. The selection was huge and clean.
