The Plaza Cafe - Southampton

All I can say is wow! I am here several times this summer and every single experience was amazing!! I've been in the restaurant industry for over 24 years and it's really hard to find restaurants that match food and service. Chef Doug is a master of seafood, I and my wife love to sit at the bar and their manager Samantha always takes care of us, she is so passionate, a real professional. Our last experience, we got there early and the cook made a tasting menu for us and it was spectacular!! Can't wait to go back!

The Plaza Café offers my family and I have an excellent experience in eating in the Hamptons. The ambience was very well thought out, given the cozy and family but refined atmosphere. We received was the warm and attentive staff who made the additional effort to offer us friendly talk and fulfill our wishes. The Chef is obviously very hard working, serving dishes such as its Montauk pearls on the half shells, Tuna and Crab Tian, Macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi, and Plaza Café 's Lobster and Shrimp 'Shepard 's Pie'. Ultimately, my family I found our trip to keep about 2 hours and enjoy it all the way through. Would definitely recommend someone who hopes to have a hearty evening.

We had the most delicious meal at The Plaza Cafe in Southampton! It was by far the best meal we had on the island! Chef owner Doug has a hands on creative approach to a wide variety of dining options. Our server hostess Sam went above beyond to be sure our experience was top notch! Our delightful, romantic evening by the fireplace was a night to remember!

This is the perfect experience I've ever had in every restaurant. Starting with the fact that their entire staff is wonderful. I messed up my reservation and her hostess took my mother and I immediately. The waiting staff was attentive, polite and efficient. Your boss is very talented. Our dinner was perfectly executed. The flavors were unbelievable, which made me almost scream of happiness. As I said, that was perfect in every way. I hope to come back many times more.

When you go to the restaurant with a mask and everyone looks like you're strange because there was no more mandate. Oops lol It was a quiet Friday night and Plaza Café is conveniently located near my friend's house there in South Hampton. In the season it was very little traffic and people on the streets. There were only three other parties in the restaurant when we got in. This place is sweet, private, has good food and service. Your menu is very small, but I still had trouble deciding what to eat for dinner. Finally decided for the tile fish.... Yes I know I was like. It was said that they are like people because they eat everything on the sea. I don't know if it's true or not, but I'll take it. The dish was light and full of taste. I tried a few of my friend Salmon / Udon court and I think that was the better choice. The salmon went very well with the Udon. Noodles were kind of solid and juices full of taste. Many parking spaces on their private property. Looks like they could share it with company / hotel in the area. I'd eat here again. The decor and feeling was okay, nothing amazing or unforgettable.
