She was actually behind the bar doing her job for maybe a total of 6 minutes the whole time we were there. And those 6 mins she was doing her job, she was terribly rude and unpleasant. Never returning to the place.
Waited to order for 10 minutes before asking around if anyone was around to help us. When the answer was a unanimous no we tried to find someone to help. After another 10 minutes an abnoxious women appeared claiming to have been on a bathroom break and proceeded to not serve us. We used to go all the time, and as locals were so disappointed in the service. Would never return!!
The server was fun and had great personality but the seafood jumble was pretty much not edible, the oysters were nasty, there wasn't crab on there as advertised, there was just water on the bottom instead of ice. i enjoyed the clam chowder though
IT IS A SHAME COAST GRILL IS NOTHING LIKE WHAT IT ONCE WAS!Made a reservation for 4 people at 6:15 on open table last minute for LDW and showed up to confusion at the hostess stand. After a minute or two they sat us as far back as they could in an empty, separate dining room.I asked politely if we could we sit in the main dining room because no one was sitting there. The staff said they were fully booked, despite being empty. (Sort of Understandable for a holiday weekend). It gets worse.Our waitress comes over says hi, then continues to hand signal and make eye contact with all the other staff clearly in regards to our table. I then asked the waitress if there was a problem with us coming in to eat. She replied, “well we aren’t supposed to take any walk ins.”They were preparing for a large group that was coming to eat two hours after our reservation time. They also had pre-ordered many of the dishes on the menu so 4/5 items were not available.I informed her that we had a reservation on open table and she rolled her eyes and said, “we are trying to stop open table reservations from coming in, you weren’t supposed to make a reservation.”Basically told that we were not welcome and were a mistake booking after seating us and pouring us water. Have the courtesy to tell us before or right when we show up or provide better service. DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU HAVE NO TASTE OR MONEY TO WASTE.
