I like coffee. I like bowls. (Honestly, whatever food I'm eating, I'd likely rather be eating it out of a bowl. The sides are just so ideal for scoopage. Therefore, a coffee served in a bowl the size of my face is heaven... I just have to figure out a way to drink it all before it gets cold. However it's not the bowled-coffee that sets this Le Pain apart, but rather the nice and light upstairs seating area and smokin' fast internet that makes this a perfect meeting point for meetings in the west of London. Tasty breakfasts (I highly recommend the porridge with bananas, berries and nuts , aforementioned bowled coffee/tea and great sandos to go make Le Pain a delightful any-time stop in my book.
Wow! This place is great! We originally were going to another brunch place but it had a huge queue. So we popped in here instead, and I'm so glad we did. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious! The brunches come with so many different things, so you're 100% satisfied with a mix of breads, yogurt, pastry, hot drink and cold drink. It was an amazing brunch.
I absolutely love this place, I feel so happy when I eat here and they serve Matcha Latte!!! The food is delicious, no complaints five stars
I remember discovering my first Le Pain Quotidien in Marylebone and how excited I was to be served open rye bread sandwiches on ceramic boards just like my grandma used to do! LPQ worked well in a cosy street corner location in a neighbourhood that provided the perfect backdrop for a bit of continental food nostalgia Fast forward a few years and Pain has joined the ever growing number of cafe chains dominating the scene. And while the food is still good and the French coffee bowls on rustic tables still attractive, the concept loses its appeal when repeated to often and when squashed into a square shape that used to be a building society on West London's ugliest high street. As it's just up from the tube station, it's too convenient to ignore and does a good trade.
