Empanash - South Lake Tahoe

We loved this place so much, that we went back the next day for round two. On our first trip we were greeted by the Mrs owner. She was so helpful, patient and kind. Very easy to talk to. We ordered the breakfast special, Henhouse, Hammer, Popeye and Namaste. It was a nice touch to have the order of selection, written on top of the box accordingly. Absolute perfection. This evening, we called our order in. Same great perfection.. Only correction I might make is to be consistent with marking the boxes with the order they are in. It was a fun game of guessing (it really was we don't find enough time to laugh, coming out of Covid dog) and we appreciated the additional empanada! It's a trek to make it here, but the day we are back in the area, this will be our first stop.

So these empanadas are tasty, but 1 each isn?t filling enough?. I wish they were slightly bigger for the price. But, yes, a GREAT snack and friendly service. Try it once for sure. Also try it in the winter as the parking at the marina is FREE! Then have a lovely stroll by the beach? And then go get tacos 2 hours later because you?re chubby and you?re still hungry. #truestory

My wife came across this place searching for empanadas and we decided to give it a go. We ordered popeye and corn fed empanadas and they were simply amazing in taste, loved the flavors. The person at the front desk taking our order was extremely kind, he communicated to us clearly that it will take 20-25 mins as they make it fresh which is really good. If you are in South Lake Tahoe, I recommend you please try empanadas here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available for customers.

So fricking good. We got one of each to try all the flavors. They have 7 options and if you get 6 you get the 7th free for $30! Each one was absolutely delicious. They imprint their name and a letter to tell you which empanada is which. The sides sauces were also amazing! The staff was friendly. I have no criticisms to make. I would eat here all the time if I lived nearby. Please try it for yourself!

The spicy isn?t insane but enough to remind you. Not over powering the flavors either. The beef was darn good. And they had these cute imprints calling out the type and their name. Would have had a better photo but we consumed these. Take photo tomorrow.
