We stopped and said it would be a 30-minute waiting period, which was completely in order as we had a big group. within a few minutes the table we were waiting for was gone, and the hostess said it would be just a few minutes to drive the table and asked us to wait outside. we wait outside and 25 minutes later went another leader inside to check, and another hostess said it would be another 15 minutes or so, and if the leader said our table should be ready to grab the original drink hostess back and said that not what she said (what was a lie) after we finally drink my fountain that was ordered again she was carbonized (from sirup) so I asked others to work. 5 minutes later, a bus boy went by and asked if I could get another drink and he said, "he was not allowed to do this," but would get someone. in a few minutes the waitress came by quickly and slammed the drink in the table and on foot. when it was time to order, we had a few girls who made a last minute decision in the pizza, so there was a cooler of minutes and the waitress said: "She had no time for it." She never checked for us and was completely rude all the time. never apologised and had to talk. the fact that due to our big party 20% gratulation was automatically applied so that it did not have to work for it. we have been patient all the time and never rude to her. I have the feeling, it was the general mood of the staff. eating was good, but I'd never walk in that facility again. it was one of the worst services I've ever seen.
We love to visit this restaurant when we are in south haven. the location is ideal to foot for shopping and south beach. eating and serving are good. Eating options for every age. pizza to full pasta entrees. it is a little on the expensive side when eating with a family. over $67 for 2 adults and a 14-year-old. the included 3 entrees, 2 softdrinks, a water and a side salad. the next day we had enough rest for lunch. the personal seemed to be a little overwhelmed this time. had approx. 5 minutets wait to get silver after my salad was taken on the table. the staff was super friendly and remained positiw, although they could say that they already fight before the rush. I suppose they feel that most restaurants are experiencing at the moment. we'll be in south again. highly recommended if they are looking for their fix of Italian food.
So disappointed by the service! I came tonight to celebrate my birthday with my family. we were tired and it took 15 minutes until someone approached us. the restaurant was not very busy, there were several empty tables around us. Once the server came, we ordered our drinks, appetizers and meals at once. 30 minutes later we still hadn't served. we wanted to go and the server came with a side salad and our appetizer. she sat the things on the table and went away. we had to ask for our drinks that they were finally served. She got her back then. Once they left, we realized that we had no cutlery, no teller for the app, and the salat had no dressing with it. the salat looked like he was from a bag on the back of the regals in the grocery store. it had limps, brown salate and mushy tomaten. at this place we cancelled the rest of our order and asked for the bill. we went forward to pay and nobody was there. When the staff went on to us, we stopped them to see who could see us. We were told twice: “not me” or “I can’t do it”. Someone finally checked us while another server was at the complaint. we are quite patient people, especially with the personal problems of the world. No one has taken responsibility to ensure that customers have been at least welcomed/globed. it seemed that young girls run dinge. I have never seen anyone “responsible”. leadership must step for step and better training for employees.
We have read some bad reviews before we go here, but decided to try it anyway, as we were here on vacation and did not feel like cooking. this reason is likely why this place stays in business as eating was quite good, but the service was really terrible. we like to place the advantage of the doubt and since it was a hard year for restaurants, but it was quite terrible unfortunately. we had the broth sticks that came out after the meal, caesar salat, lasagne and the alfredo (figure) we could return, but hopefully only for one execution order. I also doubt that we were the only diners who felt so, there were many brothers in the area of thinning.
Because of the wait times for dine-in when I was there, I encourage people to get take-out or delivery pickup instead. That being said, this place had the best fettuccine alfredo I've ever tasted. The rest of their food is fantastic too it's made authentically and with a lot of love.
