Very large portion sizes but unfortunately the fish was slightly oily. It may be that it had not drained very well before being wrapped. Aside being oily the fish was very fresh and tasted good.

Had fish n chips batter was hard fish was dry. Sausage in batter was hard batter over cooked Sausage curry sauce didn't taste of anything. Chips were like cardboard. Never again trip from plymstock. Think maybe new ownership use to be so lovely well dissatisfied Not gonna be my stop after Yealmpton show this year.

Fantastic food, great service, best chip shop around!

We stopped off at the Brixton fish and chip shop to save us cooking on our anniversary. An early week treat. This shop is take out only and is busy whenever we go, the staff know what they are doing and get through the orders as fast as they can. If you don’t wish to wait for 10-15 minutes then you can always ring your order through and then just pick it up. The portions are a nice size, I don’t have a massive appetite and seeing tons of food can put me off so a small portion is great for me. My favourite is sausage and chips with curry sauce and I tried a pea fritter which was really good also. The fish portions seem huge and I’m told the batter is nice and not too oily. The chips are a good portion size as well, large chips will be enough for any hungry belly imo Will keep going back as this chippy is consistently good! Good value for money and good food.
