Trafalgar Tavern - South East London

I was delighted to find a variety of vegetarian and vegan choices on the menu at the pub. I decided to try the sweet potato and chickpea curry, which was absolutely delicious. The naan bread that came with it was also very tasty. I also enjoyed a veggie burger and two vegetarian starters, all featuring delicious aubergine. Everything was fantastic. I have been to two weddings at this restaurant and enjoyed very tasty and satisfying vegan meals each time. However, I was disappointed that on the second occasion, they appeared to have forgotten to serve me a separate vegan dessert (as I was the only vegan in the group).

I visited my son who works behind the bar at this beautiful restaurant. We sat right by the window with a view of the river. The fish and chips we ordered were amazing. It's a great pub!

We had our special occasion on 29/03 and I want to thank the staff at Metalgar Tavern for the excellent service. The food and drinks were fantastic and all of our guests had a great time. If anyone is looking for a unique place to celebrate their special day, Metalgar Tavern is the place to go! - Mr. and Mrs. Petrow.
